High Rizers is the dance music act composed of professional DJ/ Producer/Musicians Richard Grant and Nate Paulson.

Richard had proven his DJ talents early on his musical career attaining a
residency in his first year as a solo act. One year later he went on to opening
for large acts and playing shows up and down the coast of California under
the alias “Casa St. Hooligans” with the greatest accomplishments being able
to perform at the Santa Barbara Festival Grounds for the annual Good Vibes
event and a small tour with JFK of MSTRKRFT. Years later his solo act took
off yet again having won a local DJ contest between ten of the best DJs hand-
picked by the entertainment company “Collective Effort Events”. Richard was
invited to join Dada Life on a mini tour on the California coast as his set was
voted as the best by the crowd of 1,000+ that attended the contest.

It wasn’t long after Nate purchased his first set of turn-tables that he found
himself launched into shows in his local town. Quickly being invited to perform
alongside major acts, he found himself with a strong following. Realizing
that DJing was only the beginning, he set to work in the studio producing
music under the alias “Nasty Nate.” The release of his first track “Da Bass”
received support from numerous EDM blogs and soon after, Nate released
“The Cultivation EP” with up and coming duo “TastyTreat.”

After performing/producing under their separate solo aliases both DJs saw
the potential in working together, which lead to B2B DJ sets and collaborating
in the studio. In late 2013, the two announced the formation of High Rizers
and released their first original track “Marble,” showcasing a unique blend
of sounds which began to define their style. Their latest release, “Vendetta”
has caught the attention of some big names, such as fellow LA based DJ/
producer CRNKN, and made it clear that High Rizers is a name to
watch out for in 2014.
